Bio & Previous Records

After 4 years as an Austin Texas resident, (ThIsIs) ReDeYe, Guillaume Fresneau’s personnal and organic musical project, is back with a psych-americana, dreamy folk rock album drenched in reverbs, delays and other echos. Fueled by his journeys, nature driven, inspired by west Texas desert drifts, the record is a raw analog day to day sketch diary.

Swaying between mid tempo folk and DIY orchestral pop, the songwriter delivers hypnotic and scenic soundscapes.

With help of Dan Duszynski (also seen on Molly Burch, RF Shannon, Loma or Cross Records), recorded and mixed in Austin, the album is a blend of home tape recorded sessions on a Fostex reel to reel 8 track with modern technology, giving birth to it’s unique sound texture and (ThIsIs) ReDeYe’s timeless signature.

« Desert Eyes » is (Thisis) Redeye’s (or previously Redeye) 4th studio album.

Previous records include The Memory Layers (2015), End Of The Season (2012), ThisisRedeye (2008) and EPs Be The One (2011), Run Away (2009).
